Nee Naw Day 2026

Dear Resident,

This is a reminder that we are hosting our annual “Nee Naw Day” at Cromwell Road police station, Grimsby DN31 2BN. The event is on Saturday 08th August 2026 between 10am-3pm. 

For those of you have not heard about this event before, it is an open day on the grounds of the police station with so many things to see and do. We have a number of different partner agencies in attendance including Border Force, Humberside Fire and Rescue Service, Youth Services, NEL Fostering Team, Lincolnshire Search & Rescue and British Red Cross.

There will also be staff from our very own Rural Task Force team, Roads Policing and Community policing officers. The Humberside Police band will be performing during the day and we welcome the return of the Rapid Relief Team who will be providing free food and refreshments throughout the day

There will be a mini crime scene for children to investigate, a mock custody area where finger prints can be taken, many emergency vehicles to look at including a Green Goddess fire engine. There will be a DJ playing music, free goodie-bag for all children, face painting and much more.

 This is usually a very busy and well attended day. There is free parking at Grimsby Auditorium on Cromwell Road and toilet facilities on site at the station. So, if you want a family fun day this coming weekend then please come along.
