#YouSaidWeDid update for the #BardonBeat

You said concerns around ASB, speeding vehicles and HGVs ignoring weight restrictions were affecting our communities. Here's what we've done this week:

✅ High visibility patrols carried out across Agar Nook, Greenhill, Ellistown and Ibstock, with no issues identified.

✅ Foot patrols conducted in the wooded area near Bardon Quarry, including speaking with local youths and checking reported locations. 

✅ Targeted patrols around Agar Nook, acting on local intelligence and monitoring vehicles of interest.

✅ Dedicated HGV patrols undertaken in Ellistown and Ibstock, with no vehicles found breaching weight restrictions during patrol times.

✅ Traffic monitoring carried out in response to speeding concerns, with one driver given words of advice regarding their manner of driving.

While we haven't always identified issues during our patrols, this doesn't mean the concerns don't exist. Reports from the public help us build a picture of when and where problems are happening, allowing us to deploy officers more effectively, identify patterns and target those responsible.
