🚓 South Perthshire Community Policing Update | Scam Van  

Look out for Police Scotland’s ‘Scam Van’ that will be in various locations in and around Kinross-shire on Sunday (2nd August) afternoon along with officers from the South Perthshire Community Policing Team. 

The ‘Scam Van’ is part of the #ShutOutScammers campaign with Trading Standards Scotland. The campaign aims to raise awareness of the mis-selling of energy efficiency measures, doorstep crime, rogue trading scams and other forms of financial harm to which consumers are susceptible. The campaign aims to empower consumers rather than make them fearful and to encourage the reporting of doorstep crime.
