Hertfordshire Leads the Country in Public Confidence

Hertfordshire has achieved the highest public-confidence ratings of all police force areas in England and Wales.

The latest Crime Survey found that 59% of residents believe local police are doing an excellent or good job, while 62% believe police are addressing the crime and anti-social behaviour issues that matter locally.

Successful Anti-Social Behaviour Talk

Our recent anti-social behaviour talk in Holywell Hill was a great success.

Residents had the opportunity to raise concerns, ask questions and receive practical guidance. Feedback was positive, and attendees were pleased with the information provided and how the session progressed.

Upcoming Fraud and Cybercrime Awareness Talk

Join us on Monday 17 August 2026, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, for a practical community session on fraud, scams and cybercrime.

The session will be led by Chen Tsui, Cyber Protect Officer within the Serious Fraud and Cyber Unit at Hertfordshire Constabulary.

Become a Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator

Our volunteer coordinator network continues to grow, helping us provide stronger support and better communication for local residents.

We are currently recruiting coordinators who live in:

Colney Heath, Ashley, Cunningham, Verulam, St Peter’s, Clarence and Marshalswick South.

No previous experience is required. Full guidance and support will be provided, and the role can be flexible around your availability.
