MAN CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED ROBBERY

A man has been charged following an attempted robbery in Tamworth.

Josh Langston, 22, has been charged with attempted robbery and possession of a knife blade / sharp pointed article in a public place.

It comes after a woman was threatened at around 10.30pm on Tuesday (28 July) on Birds Bush Road.

Langston is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Friday 31 July).
