Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Between 1.00pm on Monday 27and 1.00pm on Tuesday 28 July in Arden Close, Hucknall, an attempt was made to gain entry via the rear patio doors which were damaged and a brick was put through a rear window but we do not think the property was entered. An attempt was also made to enter a shed damaging the door. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to Report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Between 9.00pm and midnight on Saturday 25 July at the Half Moon Public House, South Street, Hucknall, a white iPhone 16 Pro max in a clear case with a silver chain, was stolen. A report at 9.46am on Monday 27 July from Unit G10, Imex Enterprise Park, Wigwam Lane, Hucknall, of large containers being stolen from a gated yard at the rear. An engineer challenged the offenders, who were scarp men, and they left but then returned 20 minutes later. Robbery At 3.54pm on Saturday 25 July at Hucknall Railway Station, Ashgate Road, Hucknall, two males without tickets were complaining about the prices and became abusive one pushed the caller, grabbed the train keys and a whistle, before they rode off leaving the victim very shaken. Both between 30/40 years old, one white, one mixed race. One rider returned and handed back the items taken. Criminal Damage At 11.39pm on Friday 24 July in Shaw Crescent, Hucknall, a downstairs window was smashed. Between 9.00pm on Sunday 26 and 7.30am on Monday 27 July in Portland Road, Hucknall, a Toyota Camper van parked on a locked drive way was ‘Keyed’. It had been parked at the Sutton Reservoir, Kings Mill, the previous day and it may have happened there. A report at 2.31pm on Monday 27 July in Quarry Dale, Hucknall, of eggs being thrown at a property. At 9.53pm on Monday 27 July in Lilac Road, Hucknall, a white male, 5-08”, medium build, sunglasses on head, wearing a white top and black shorts was throwing stones/bricks at a window. A report at 7.47am on Wednesday 29 July in Portland Road, Hucknall, of the back windscreen of a black Toyota Aygo X Pure being smashed. Between 9.00pm on Tuesday 28 and 7.15pm on Wednesday 29 July in Laburnum Grove, Hucknall, a black Ford Focus car had the front and rear passenger side doors ‘Keyed’. ASB Around 3.00am on Sunday 26 July in Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall, two people engaged in sex near the bins at the back of the flats. At 4.15pm on Sunday 26 July in Lovesey Avenue Hucknall a car driver had to stop when he was faced with around 15 electric/and dirt bikes being ridden towards him doing wheelies and taking up the full width of the road. The riders were wearing masks but no helmets. At 4.24pm on Sunday 26 July in Lovesey Avenue, Hucknall, a report of six males in balaclavas riding up and down the avenue on dirt bikes, one may have been a 125 motorbike. The bikes had no registration plates and the riders not wearing helmets. At 5.22pm on Monday 27 July in St. Nicholas Park Hucknall, six 10/13 year old youngsters who keep knocking on the door and ringing the door bell. This has been going on for the last three hours. At 6.46pm on Tuesday 28th July they were doing it again.
