Community Alert- Stirchley

The Nedge Safer Neighbourhood Team have been made aware of two masked individuals acting suspiciously in the Cornbrook area of Stirchley in the early hours of the 29th of July. The individuals were seen trying to steal bikes and looking into parked vehicles, trying the doorhandles. 

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be carrying out increased patrols in the area to provide reassurance.

Please help protect your property by:

🔒 Always locking your bike with a quality lock and securing it to a fixed object.

🚗 Ensuring your vehicle is locked, even if you’re only leaving it for a short time.

💼 Removing valuables from your vehicle or keeping them out of sight.

📹 Checking CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcams if you notice anything suspicious.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously, please report it to us. If a crime is in progress or there’s an immediate risk, call 999. For non-emergencies, report via 101 or online. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously at: Crimesoppers-uk.org or on 0800 555 111.
