**Polling Day **

Today is Greater Manchester Mayoral Election Day. Polling stations are open for eligible voters to cast their vote for the next Mayor of Greater Manchester. Voters attending a polling station must bring an accepted form of photo ID.

Please be respectful of polling station staff, campaigners and fellow residents throughout the day. Any intimidation, harassment, obstruction of voters or disruption at polling stations will not be tolerated.

You will see officers on patrol as usual across our communities. Our role is to support a safe and peaceful election process and respond to any concerns if required. If you witness any disorder or behaviour that may impact someone's ability to vote, please report it to the police.
