🚓 Working Together to Tackle Speeding in Broseley

1. What do we want the public to know?

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team is aware of concerns about speeding in Broseley, which remains a local community priority. We are working closely with Broseley Town Council to develop a joint Community Speed Watch (CSW) initiative.

Community Speed Watch schemes are coordinated by the police but managed and operated by trained volunteers. The scheme gives local people the opportunity to play an active role in making their community safer.

Importantly, the aim of Community Speed Watch is not to catch as many speeding drivers as possible. Instead, it is designed to:

2. How do we want the public to feel?

We want residents to feel reassured that road safety concerns are being taken seriously and that there are positive opportunities for the community to work alongside police and the Town Council to help make Broseley's roads safer for everyone.

3. What do we want the public to do?

If you are aged 17 or over and would like to volunteer as part of a future Community Speed Watch team, please contact Broseley Town Council to register your interest.
