Ask a trusted neighbour, firend or family member to keep an eye on your property and collect any post.

Avoid advertising your holiday plans or posting real-time updates on social media.

Secure valuable items out of sight and consider using a safe for important documents.

Check that alarms and security systems are working correctly.

These steps can significantly reduce the risk of crime and help safeguard your property during periods of absence.
