Residential Burglary In Hest Bank Village

Good evening

Can I please alert you of a burglary of a residential address in Hest Bank village in the early hours of Tuesday 28th July 2026. During this burglary two motor vehicles were stolen from the address; a black BMW 330 D and a Volkswagen Polo in white. There are a number of individuals involved and it is believed to have occurred at around 03:00 hours in the morning. The investigation is ongoing and is being headed by detectives in Lancaster and Morecambe’s Burglary Team.

To assist us in our investigation, could I ask that you check your CCTV cameras to see if it has picked up any suspicious individuals or vehicles around the times of 01:00 and 04:00 hours on the morning of Tuesday 28th July 2026 and share these with ourselves. Could I remind people, some simple crime prevention measures to deter these thieves as many are opportunists; ensure doors and windows locked even when you are within the address and keep valuables out of sight.
