At the end of last week we seized this illegal e-bike from a teenager in Diss, which had previously been spotted being ridden around Dickleburgh and failed to stop for an officer. ![]() We know that illegally modified e-bikes are a real concern for a lot of our residents, especially to those in town centres who worry about the danger to the public and the rider, and we’ll continue to tackle the issue- please keep reporting these concerns for us to look into.
To make it clear:
More information on e-bikes here: https://orlo.uk/LEL0T ![]() In other road-safety related work, officers have also been addressing speeding in Alburgh following recent concerns raised to the Harleston Beat Manager. The checks were done outside Alburgh Village Hall and the children's play area, particularly important during the school holidays when increased numbers of children are using the area. During the checks two drivers were detected exceeding 40pmh in the 30mph speed limit, and were issued with traffic offence reports. | ||
