A man has been jailed for more than two years after officers spotted him selling drugs while riding a bicycle in Cannock.
Timothy Hunter, 36, from Cannock, was sentenced to two-years-and-six months in prison at Stafford Crown Court on Thursday (23 July) after admitting being concerned in the supply of cocaine and two counts of acquiring / using / possessing criminal property.
In January this year, officers from our major and organised crime proactive team saw Hunter riding a push bike around the Longford Road area of Cannock.
They saw the defendant approach a man parked outside a row of shops on Longford Road and pass him something before riding off.
Shortly after, Hunter was stopped and searched by officers, who found multiple snap bags of cocaine, £140 in cash and a mobile phone.
