Appeal following stabbing in Plymouth |

We are appealing for witnesses and information following a stabbing in Plymouth. We were called to Honicknowle Lane in Plymouth at 11.30pm on Sunday 19 July following a report a man had been stabbed. A 49-year-old local man was taken to Derriford Hospital having sustained two stab wounds and injuries to his head. He has since been released from hospital. The attack was reported to have taken place on Springhill and the victim then made his way to Honicknowle Lane where he received help. A scene guard was in place around Springhill and has since been lifted. We are currently trying to locate a male suspect who is wanted in connection with grievous bodily harm with intent. The suspect is described as a white male with short ginger hair aged in his 20s or 30s, 5ft 2in to 5ft 3in tall with a stocky build and wearing a grey hoody and jeans at the time of the incident. We are keen to hear from two motorists who are believed to have seen the victim trying to summon for help. We would also like to hear from anyone who has dashcam or doorbell CCTV footage, or any information concerning the incident.
