Hollesley Bay absconder – James Smith

Police are appealing for help to trace a prisoner who has absconded from HMP Hollesley Bay.

James Smith, 41, was reported as missing to police Friday evening 24 July, after being absent at a roll call.

Smith has connections to Ipswich and Essex. He is described as white, approximately 5ft 9ins, of slight build, with blue eyes. He has brown hair and was last seen with a moustache.

Anyone who sees Smith is asked to call 999 immediately, quoting CAD 344 of 24 July.

Anyone who has any other information is asked to contact Suffolk police on 101.
