OPERATION JAILOLO

On Tuesday 14th July our officers, alongside several other assisting teams executed 5 simultaneous warrants at both commercial and residential properties along LONDON ROAD, which were linked to theft and drug related offences. This resulted in 4 arrests being made and a large quantity of suspected stolen items, cash, drugs and weapons being seized. The theft-related investigations are ongoing, whilst one male has been charged for drug-dealing related offences. 

Local offenders are believed to be shoplifting from local stores and then selling them to these offenders before the items are resold. These offences are encouraging further drug, violent and theft-related offences and is having a significant impact to the community. The team have worked tirelessly over the past couple of months to develop and execute this operation, all to show that it is not acceptable for this offending to take place in our area.
