NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING AND PREVENTION UPDATE NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING AND PREVENTION UPDATE Monthly Community Update from Sgt SMITH 734 I hope this message finds you well. As we move through JULY, I wanted to share a quick round-up of what’s been happening across our local area, what’s coming up, and how we’re working together to keep our community safe and thriving. 🔍 Local Priorities Our current focus areas include: Priority 1 – Neighbourhood and Roads Policing officers will be addressing concerns raised by community members in relation to speeding around MONKTON and HUNDLETONPriority 2 – A range of Anti-social Behaviour incidents have been reported in PEMBROKE. Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention Teams will be carrying out high-visibility patrols and working with partner agencies to provide reassurance and address these concernsPriority 3 – Your local Neighbourhood Policing and Prevention team will conduct high visibility patrols at Key beat Locations both morning and afternoons. If you’d like to get involved, please reach out! 📅 Important Dates Our upcoming surgeries are noted on the external website for your reference. 🎉 Upcoming Events 27/07/2026 – Foundry House Warm Space 28/07/2026 – Monkton Coffee Morning 03/08/2026 – Pennar Warm Room surgery We’d love to see you there—these events are a great way to connect and share ideas. 🗞️ Round-Up from Various Wards Here’s a snapshot of key updates across our patch: Bike Register – following a successful input from PCSO 8143 in registering bikes, on feedback from those present she had scheduled a further bike marking day in Coldwell Terrace – with arrangements made to be implement in Freshwater West in the upcoming monthMonkton Community Champions – Monkton Priory School, DPP and PCC Local Authority Housing officers have been working closely with community members to develop a strong working group of community champions which will voice the communities needs. In the initial review of the project, it has been positive to see that a number of short term goals have already been achieved eg, clear up of community spaces, increased patrols at key times and a joint partnership community day which was held in May is in planning to be a annual event of gathering community members together. 🤝🏼 Thank you for working with us to keep Pembroke Dock and surrounding communities safe and informed.
