Trentham and Hanford - garages broken into Burrington Dr, damaged bench Hanford Park and Police Street Surgeries

Garages broken into - Burrington Dr

We have received a report that on 17/07/2026 at 03:09am, two garages were broken into on Burrington Dr. 

Nothing is believed to of been stolen at this time. 

There were 3 suspects involved and they arrived on a motorbike(s).

The incident happened between the two blue arrows on this map.

We are currently exploring if the incident is linked to the theft of a motor vehicle that occurred on Burrington Dr on the same date. 

If anyone has any CCTV, Ring doorbell, Dash Cam footage or any other information that may help our enquiries, please reply to this message and I will be in touch -thank you. 

In regard to the vehicle which was stolen on the 17/06/26 on Burrington Dr, Detective Constable 5616 Lorraine Butler is the officer in charge of this incident. She has asked that I forward her details on, should anyone have any CCTV, Ring doorbell, Dash Cam footage or any other information that may help our enquiries.

Damaged Bench - Hanford Park 

I was made aware that a bench has been damaged in Hanford Park - I have reported this to the Council.

This week surgeries have been completed at Diarmid Rd, Florence Rd, Trentley Rd and Arctic Pl. 

 TONIGHT (25/07/26) there will be a Police Street Surgery at Parkside 18:45 – 19:00
