🚌PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION WITH THOSE WHO RELY ON BUSES IN THE AREA particularly the vulnerable and elderly who may not see this post 🚌

With buses being unable to access the parish at present, there is a service that may help (through Travel Derbyshire) that can be used in Blackwell Parish.

All you need to do is ring 01159 863355, select option 2 and you can find out more about the travel options available and register to use the bus service. It is FREE to those with a Gold card and £7 per trip without the Gold Card.

There is also 'Shopper Wednesday' which takes residents from the parish to Tesco Alfreton.

Please note that there are only 2 buses that run in the whole area, so they are busy services. They can provide much needed assistance at any time, but especially with the current bus service unable to run.
