I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Recently officers from Lisburn Rural NPT carried out speed checks on Old Kilmore Road, Moira following concerns raised by local residents. Motorists were detected exceeding the speed limit and issued with Fixed penalty Notices. Road safety remains a priority and we will continue to address locations of concern where and when possible. In addition to speeding please read further for safety advice while driving. Be safe and alert when driving It is important to stay safe and alert while on the road - you want to avoid all of the emergencies you just planned for.
