Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other Nothing to report Theft of motor vehicle Between 7.00pm on Thursday 16 and 3.00pm on Friday 17 July in West End, Sutton in Ashfield, a navy blue Audi Q7 Quattro S Line was stolen from the car park of the Staff of Life Public House. Theft from motor vehicle Between 1.00am and 8.30am on Sunday 19 July in Rabbit Burrow, Sutton in Ashfield, a parked white Hyundai five door saloon car was broken into and an untidy search was made. A purse containing cash, bank cards and a child’s health cards was stolen. The locking system was damaged and no longer works. Between 1.00am and 9.00am on Sunday 19 July in Beck lane, Sutton in Ashfield, a grey Mazda CX-80 car was broken into and searched. A iPhone 14 was stolen. At 12.12am on Monday 20 July in Welbeck Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of four males breaking into a blue Audi A5 car. One – white, age around 30, wearing blue shorts, black jacket. An item was removed from the boot but the caller could not see what it was. Between 4.26pm and 5.26pm on Monday 20 July in Walton Street, Sutton in Ashfield, the back doors of a black Vauxhall Vivaro Panel van were forced open with a crowbar and tools were stolen from inside. Theft At 10.30pm on Wednesday 15 July at the Fox and Crown Public House, Dalestorth Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a gold IPhone16 Pro in a clear case was stolen. The case also had the owners driving licence and a bank card inside. At 2.55pm on Wednesday 22 July in Welbeck Street, Sutton in Ashfield, an Amazon package was stolen from a doorstep by a white female, mid 30’s, 5-05”, slim build, blonde/ginger hair, wearing black cycling shorts and black trainers, with a black and red bag. Criminal Damage At 9.38pm on Saturday 18 July at The Old Post Office, Morven Avenue, Sutton in Ashfield, a group of approximately five males in their late teens, wearing black tracksuits and balaclavas, riding on e-bikes, threw a brick at a window causing damage but not going through. They returned later and threw another object which did smash the window. Between 11.00am and 10.00pm on Saturday 18 July in Sutton Lawn Park, Lawn Lane, Sutton in Ashfield, fencing around the 3G pitch was bent over and broken. At 2.08am on Monday 20 July in Manor Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of things being thrown at the window of Vape HQ, cracking the glass. The offender drove off towards Church Street in a white car, possibly a Fiat 500. ASB Nothing to report
