Moped and motorbike owners in Norwich – please stay alert

We’ve seen a recent increase in reports of motorbike and moped thefts across Norwich and are asking owners to remain vigilant.

This week, we have received reports of thefts in the areas of Bullard Road, Gilbard Road, Dereham Road, Bentley Way, Lefroy Road and Knowland Grove.

While we investigate these incidents, we are urging anyone who has seen anything suspicious, or who may have information that could assist our enquiries, to get in touch.

You can make your bike less attractive to thieves by taking a layered approach to security – lock it, chain it and cover it whenever possible.

Anyone who sees anything suspicious should contact Norfolk Police by reporting online or calling 101. If a crime is in progress, call 999.
