Hope you are all well and having a good week.

Here’s a quick roundup from your local policing team of some of the work we have been doing over the last month in the Leamore, Birchills and Beechdale area’s

The team have conducted joint patrols on the Walsall to Bloxwich bus service 70 with safer travel TSOs (Travel safety officers) on the 15th and 16th of July, this in response to concerns raised at a cuppa with a copper session regarding ASB in the afternoons when schools break up for the day.

The team attended cuppa with a copper at St Chads, Beechdale on the 21st of July- there was a very special guest who also attended, Steve from 'Heart Start Mossely' attended and conducted community-based training in CPR, defibrillator, and trauma bleed kit use. Heart Start Mossley is a Walsall-based volunteer group that provides free CPR, defibrillator, and trauma bleed kit training to the local community.

Patrols and house to house enquiries have been conducted in the West St area of Leamore due to a report of criminal damage (22/06/26). A window was smashed in the early hours of the morning by unknown person/s – we ask that should anyone have any information and/or CCTV regarding this matter to call 101 and quote Crime Investigation 20/334061/26.

PCSO Marica has been utilising police electric bikes to patrol the canal networks.
