Important Message – Please do not ignore

Police are investigating a vehicle theft in your area that occurred sometime between 19:30 on 21/07/2026 and 07:30 22/07/2026 on a street near Leeming Lane South, Catterick Village.

A black Nissan Navara with Silver roof bars was taken from a side street. This, along with another vehicle, is believed to then be involved in theft from a BT maintenance manhole in the pavement.

Do you have any information which would assist North Yorkshire Police in finding those responsible and help keep your community safe?

Did you or anyone who you live with, hear or see anything around the above time and date?

Do you have any CCTV coverage capturing the burglary, or anything happening on the street before or after?

Do you have a vehicle with a dash-cam parked in the area?

Security Advice

Ensure that all doors are locked overnight, and windows are locked or on a latch.

Remove any valuables from sight and it is advisable to keep house/cars key, wallets/purses, phones/laptops/tablets in the room where you sleep.

Consider fitting a security light to the side of your property.
