Motorcycle Nuisance Appeal – Broughton

Good afternoon residents,

The local Neighbourhood Policing Team is currently dealing with an increase in reports of motorcycle nuisance in and around Broughton as part of Operation Yellowfin.

We believe that one of the motorcycles involved is stolen, and we are appealing for information from the local community to help identify those responsible.

The descriptions of the two motorbikes from this weekend are as follows;

The motorcycles have mainly been reported during the evening hours in the following areas:

• Land to the rear of Hillside Road, Broughton
• The wooded area off Appleby Lane
• The lane running alongside the cemetery on Appleby Lane

We are asking residents to contact us if they have seen any motorcycles in these locations and can provide details such as:

• Times and dates of sightings
• Descriptions of the motorcycles
• Descriptions of riders and their clothing
• Direction of travel
• Registration numbers (if visible)
• CCTV, doorbell footage, photographs or videos

Any information, no matter how small it may seem, could assist our enquiries and help us identify those involved.

If you witness this activity, please report it via 101 or through the Humberside Police website. If the incident is happening at the time and presents an immediate risk to the public, please call 999.
