Dear Resident, Here's a brief overview of recent activity undertaken by the Beaumont Leys Neighbourhood Policing Team: ✅ Two arrests made following a burglary where a vulnerable hospital patient had their bag stolen. One of those arrested was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.✅ Plain-clothes patrols and proactive policing operations carried out in Beaumont Leys Shopping Centre.✅ Assisted with scene preservations and property searches relating to ongoing investigations.✅ Completed crime reports, investigations, and safeguarding referrals.✅ Conducted welfare checks on vulnerable members of the community.✅ Assisted in searches for vulnerable missing persons.✅ Addressed reports of anti-social behaviour across the beat area.✅ Worked alongside Leicester City Council, Social Services, and partner agencies to support vulnerable individuals.✅ Attended road traffic collisions and provided support where required.✅ Seized offensive weapons and removed them from the streets.✅ Resolved community concerns through partnership working and ECINS referrals.✅ Conducted high-visibility foot patrols, engaging with residents and providing reassurance.✅ Visited Beaumont Leys Shopping Centre with Designing Out Crime Officers and the Economic Crime Unit to raise awareness of counterfeit bank notes and fraud prevention.We remain committed to tackling crime, supporting vulnerable people, and keeping Beaumont Leys a safe place to live, work, and visit. 📞 Report crime or anti-social behaviour via 101, online at www.leics.police.uk, or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
