Dear Resident NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING AND PREVENTION UPDATE Monthly Community Update from Sgt 131 Matthew Wells β July 2026 I hope this message finds you well. As we move through July, I wanted to share a quick round-up of whatβs been happening across our local area, whatβs coming up, and how weβre working together to keep our community safe and thriving. π Local Priorities Our current focus areas include: High volume of thefts from shops in Milford HavenCommunity Concerns have been raised in relation to drug activity and associated ASB in the vicinity of Milford HavenA range of anti-social behaviour incidents have been reported in Milford Haven Weβre continuing patrols and targeted operations in these areas and welcome any feedback or concerns youβd like to raise. In addition, we will be tackling: Speeding concerns along St Annes Road in Hakin, Waterston, Neyland, Honeyborough and Bulford Road (bypass), Johnston.Anti-Social Behaviour in Broad Haven. It is hoped that you will have already observed an increase in Patrols. π€ Partnership Working Weβve been working closely with: Milford Haven Port Authority β Dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour in and around the Marina area. Monthly meetings with Port Authority leads will continue.Nacro β a Charity that helps people overcome barriers and rebuild their lives, supporting people that have been involved with the Criminal Justice System or leaving prison, are at risk of homelessness or need supported housing, need education, training or help finding work, or who have other challenges that make it harder to live independently. The aim of the Charity is to reduce crime and social exclusion.Most targeted stores by shoplifters β Retail Crime Prevention assessments have been carried out at numerous stores in the area to assist in minimising offencesLicensed premises β visits have been carried out to tackle the misuse of drugs and alcohol, including underage drinking.ATEB Housing Association and County Council β to tackle tenancy-related concerns, including assisting in issuing a Community Protection Warning (CPW)Dog Warden β Joint patrols in Milford Haven offering advice to members of the publicGoSafe β Speed checks carried out in Honeyborough Road, Neyland, The Promenade, Neyland and Freystrop.These collaborations are helping us respond more effectively and holistically to community needs. π§βπ€βπ§ Community Involvement Thank you to everyone whoβs taken part in: Milford Haven Carnival β 4th JulyNeyland Carnival β 11th JulyWaterston Site Community Liaison Committee β Many thanks for the invitation to the meeting held on 15th July.
