Good News - Royal Victoria & Albert SNT - Prolific Shoplifter Arrest

On FRIDAY 17th JULY 2026 at 1350HRS on NORTH WOOLWICH ROAD E16, Royal Victoria & Albert SNT were conducting hybrid mobile patrols, including cycle patrol and mobile minibus patrols when PC BLIZNIUKAS was flagged down by security at Royal Wharf who had identified a prolific shoplifter who was attempting to flee the scene.

The incident was circulated to the mobile unit, PC Nathan LAMPTEY, PC Adnan EGAL and PC Adeyemi ABIOLA who were on route. The male was apprehended by PC BLIZNIUKAS on FORT STREET E16 where the suspect had provided false details and was arrested under suspicion of theft X2.

The identity of the male was confirmed at custody where he was Wanted X3 for failure to appear, theft from a shop and Breach of Court Order. After conducting further checks, the male is linked to multiple shopliftings across Newham and neighbouring boroughs.
