Good Afternoon Resident
If you find the below information helpful, please “rate” this message at the bottom (very quick and simple). Please help us to reach more residents. Tell your neighbours, friends & family about Hampshire Alert - anyone can register - https://www.hampshirealert.co.uk/
I have sent this message to a radius of 1500m of the area.
Today at my Beat Surgery a resident attended to tell me about ‘racing, drifting, speeding’ by cars along the new road - The Avenue, that links Fair Oak, Horton Heath and Hedge End.
Are you affected by this too? If, so please ensure you report what is happening to 101 - if its ongoing, please tell the call taker its happening now and ask if any NPT are on duty and can attend? If you are reporting after the fact - this is still really important, as we need to have the reports logged from residents to be able to evidence there is a problem and use this evidence to apply for further resourcing and use the information (date / times/s) to plan and work to target the problem. Report online here - https://www.hampshire.police.uk/ro/report/asb/asb-v3/report-antisocial-behaviour/
Also, have you completed the Let's Talk survey? It takes approx 3/6 minutes and its important to register on this survey what is affecting you and what you want us to concentrate our resources on. Please do this here - https://survey.hampshirealert.co.uk/
If you have mobile phone footage, or dash cam footage, you can submit this to Hants SNAP. A Police initiative aimed at dealing with traffic offences caught on camera - Traffic Offences on Camera | Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary Hampshire Police are accepting personal video evidence submissions from members of the public who have footage of alleged road traffic offences. A trained decision maker will assess the footage and determine if any offences have been committed. Where action is proportionate and there is sufficient evidence to successfully prosecute the case at Court, the incident will most likely be dealt with via the fixed penalty system.
