Salvation Army Visit

This morning, we met with the organisers and members of the Salvation Army congregation who meet at the Family Centre, Fieldway. The group gathers from 10:00am–11:00am for set-up and refreshments, with tea and coffee available before the service begins at 11:00am.

It was a positive engagement opportunity, allowing us to speak with both the organisers and members of the congregation, build community relationships, and maintain a visible presence within the local area. The atmosphere was welcoming and provided valuable community engagement.

We were treated to listening to the Salvation Army band practising a couple of songs before the service, which added to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the morning.

Overall, it was an enjoyable and worthwhile engagement, highlighting the positive community support and sense of togetherness provided by the Salvation Army at Fieldway.
