La Frowda Festival Penzance

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend. 

It was fantastic to see St Just come alive during this year's Lafrowda Festival, with a fun, family-friendly atmosphere enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.

Officers from the Penzance Neighbourhood Team and the Neighbourhood Support Team were pleased to attend and engage with the community throughout the day. It was wonderful to see so many people enjoying the celebrations in good spirits and helping to make the event such a success.

Throughout the festival, officers maintained a visible policing presence within the town, providing opportunities for people to speak with us, report concerns, seek advice, and feel reassured that help was readily available if needed. Our presence also acted as a deterrent to anti-social behaviour and underage drinking, helping to ensure the event remained a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone attending.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the positive atmosphere. It was lovely to see the town bustling with activity, community spirit, and people of all ages coming together to enjoy what makes St Just and the wider community so special.
