Dear resident,
You said, we did…
We receive frequent reports of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) in relation to nuisance/illegal e-bikes and e-scooters. As part of ‘Project Pinpoint’, we have used the data from your reports to ‘pinpoint’ the use of these e-bikes and make positive changes in the community. Your ASB reports have enabled us to direct resources and in a single day, almost 50 illegally adapted e-bikes and e-scooters were seized!
Neighbourhood Policing Inspector Tim Ursell, who led on Operation Livewire said: “The operation was created in response to community concerns around the illegal use of e-vehicles (scooters, bikes and Sur-rons) within our communities. "Working in partnership with Cardiff Council allows us to target areas proactively, remove these vehicles from the streets and ensure that they are destroyed and responsibly recycled to prevent them from being used in the future. "We continue to ask people to report this type of ASB to us, to allow us to plan and target areas in future operation days."
Each report helps us pinpoint solutions for positive change in the community. We want to highlight that every report really does count! We look forward to hearing from you!
Kind regards PCSO Jen (If you require this message in Wels, please don't hesitate to contact me)
