WARNING: Possible overtopping Eyemouth Coastal - additional warning

Following on from the warning yesterday, SEPA has issued a further warning for wave breach and possible overtopping which now includes Sunday 19 July. 

Warning: Chance of breach and overtopping at high tides Eyemouth Coastal area

Date: Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July 2026

Hours of potential overtopping

Friday high tide 1800 hours British summer time (BST)

Saturday high tide 0615 hours and 1845 hours BST 

Sunday high tide 0652 hours and 1924 hours BST

Care should be taken around Eyemouth in particular. 

Please take extra care and risk assess your activity based on the conditions.
