Section 35 Dispersal Orders Authorised Police have authorised Section 35 Dispersal Orders for the areas and times listed below. This decision has been taken following ongoing reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) within these locations over recent weeks and an anticipated increase in ASB associated with the end of the school term and the start of the summer holidays. The dispersal powers provide officers with additional measures to address behaviour that is causing harassment, alarm, distress, crime, or disorder within the designated areas. Anyone directed to leave a dispersal area by a police officer must comply with that direction. Failure to do so may result in arrest and further action being taken. We recognise that the vast majority of young people enjoy their summer holidays responsibly. These powers are intended to protect local communities, prevent further incidents of anti-social behaviour, and ensure that residents, businesses, and visitors can enjoy public spaces safely. We will continue to work with local partners to engage positively with young people whilst taking robust action against those whose behaviour negatively impacts others. Thank you for your support in helping us keep our communities safe.
