"Cuppa with a Coppa" - Police surgery Streethay

Just a reminder that I will be available at the Community cafe (Costa coffee), Blackberry Court, Chestnut Road, Streethay today from 11am to 12.30hrs. Local residents from Streethay are welcome, please remember to sign in at reception.

This is an opportunity to meet your local PCSO and discuss and issues or concerns that you may have.

Issues raised at last surgery were:-

Parking/Speeding and traffic congestion - concerns raised about vehicles speeding through the estate, road works causing congestion and access issues to the estate. - PCSO's will link in with Community Speedwatch and Road Safety Team with a view to conducting speed watch operations at the location.  

Parking issues outside school on Yoxall Way - Considerate Parking advice letter will be sent to school asking if it can be published in school newsletter for parents. 

Crime prevention/personal safety advice - Police and Lichfield District Council Community Safety Team to arrange a crime prevention & home security (incl vehicles) event for Sept/Oct.
