Neighbourhood Watch is about people getting together with their neighbours to take action to reduce crime and help make their communities safer. 🤝🚓 Neighbourhood Watch schemes are community initiatives owned and run by local members. They are supported by the police but are not police-run, although we sometimes help facilitate them. These schemes work by developing strong relationships between residents and their local policing teams. 👮♂️🏘️ ✅ Neighbourhood Watch schemes can:🔹 Cut crime and reduce opportunities for crime 🔹 Help and reassure those who live in the area 🔹 Encourage neighbourliness and build stronger communities 📋 How to Join a Watch Scheme🌐 Visit the Neighbourhood Watch website to find active groups in your area and register to join.
