Keep It Closed & Locked

Whilst on patrol the East Acton Safer Neighbourhoods Team has recently noticed a number of vehicles being left insecure.

With the warm weather, we understand it can be tempting to leave windows open. However, please remember to keep all vehicle windows closed and doors locked, even when parked outside your home for a short time.

Leaving a vehicle insecure provides an easy opportunity for thieves to steal items from inside or even the vehicle itself.

✅ Close all windows before leaving your vehicle
✅ Lock all doors and check they are secure
✅ Remove valuables from sight
✅ Never leave keys inside the vehicle

A few seconds spent securing your vehicle can help prevent crime and keep our community safe.
