A teenager has been arrested in connection with an ATM theft which took place in Watton in the early hours of yesterday (15 July). Officers were called at around 4.54am yesterday to a report of a burglary in progress in the High Street. Following a pursuit by officers, which concluded in Weeting, extensive searching by officers on foot, drone officers and police dogs, a teenage boy was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking, aggravated burglary, and possession of a knife/bladed article. He has been questioned at King’s Lynn Police Investigation Centre and released on bail to appear at King’s Lynn PIC on 7 October 2026. There were no injures connected to the incident. Three suspects remain outstanding and inquiries are ongoing.
