MAN CHARGED WITH DRUGS OFFENCES

A man has been charged after officers searched a car and home in Tamworth.

Ahmed Nasrudin Ahmed, 36, has been charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

It comes after officers from our major and organised crime proactive team and road crime team searched a car yesterday (Monday 13 July).

They also searched an address.

Ahmed has is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (Tuesday 14 July).
