The Metropolitan Police Service is seeking volunteers aged 18 and over to join Camden's Independent Advisory Group (IAG) and provide independent advice to local policing teams.
What is the Independent Advisory Group? The IAG works in partnership with the police as a "critical friend", offering independent perspectives on policing practices, training, and operations. Members help the police understand how their activities may affect local communities and contribute to improving services for all Londoners.
Why get involved? As an Independent Adviser, you can: Contribute to making Camden a safer and more inclusive borough.
Who can apply? You can apply if you:
No specific qualifications, training, or professional background are required—your life experience, skills, and local knowledge are what matter most.
Time Commitment The role is unpaid and does not require a significant time commitment.
