Scam Awareness Session, Valentines SNT

PCSO Ansa Khan (7016EA) delivered a scam awareness talk this week to a large gathering of local residents, focusing on protecting the community from mobile and phone-based fraud including bank impersonation calls, "family emergency" scams, and courier text scams.

The session formed part of Valentines Safer Neighbourhood Team's ongoing work to safeguard vulnerable and elderly residents from financial crime, with practical guidance on recognising warning signs, verifying callers, and reporting fraud through Action Fraud and the 159 banking hotline.

Thank you to everyone who attended for such an engaged and lively discussion  community events like this remain one of our most effective tools in preventing fraud before it happens.
