Speak Safe: Helping our children feel safer |
||
|
Dear all,
I am writing to let you know about an anonymous online reporting tool called Speak Safe.
It has been designed to give children and young people aged 10–18 a voice and allows them to report specific areas in their communities where they feel unsafe, whether that is on their walk to school, at a local park, or around the shops.
How it worksIt takes just 30 seconds to complete. Children simply need to: Why it mattersThis information is shared directly with the police and local safety professionals. By mapping these reports, they can identify areas that need attention and take real action to improve community safety for our young people. Please take a look at the attached posters and leaflets, and encourage your children to use this tool. Together, we can continue to make our communities safer.
🚨 Please note: This tool does not replace emergency services. In an emergency, always call 999 (or 101 for non-emergencies).
