Closure Order applied for and gained

Recently Church Street Ward officers identified an address that appeared to be a focal point for criminal activity and local ASB. Officers have gathered the necessary evidence that has enabled them to obtained a Closure Order from the Magistrates Court under the Anti-social Behaviour and Crime and Policing Act 2014.

In affect the Closure Order now makes it an offence for anyone not listed on the Order to enter the address over a period set by the court and it has been shown that such Closure Orders can cause a dramatic improvement in the levels of ASB in the locality.
