Positive Results for the Sycamore Estate |
||
|
Partnership work to tackle antisocial behaviour on the Sycamore Estate is delivering real results.
Since March, reports of ASB have fallen dramatically, with calls for service reducing from 44 incidents to just 7 over a comparable one-month period – an 84% reduction. Data also shows incidents across the wider Golcar Ward were around 50% lower in June than in March.
This improvement follows a range of activity led by local officers and partners, including: Identifying those responsible for ASB and taking appropriate action
It's particularly encouraging that many of the young people who engaged with support services have not come to police attention again.
Thank you to residents for continuing to report concerns and work with us. While there is still more to do, these figures show the positive impact that communities, police, housing providers and partner agencies can achieve when working together.
If you wish to report any incidents of Anti-Social Behaviour, please use the following online form, or call 101 to speak to one of our Contact Officers, or 999 in an emergency:-
