Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents. Officers from Westminster City Council, (Neighbourhood Coordinator, Animal Welfare, City Inspector, and representation from Westminster Housing) together with members of the local police team conducted a surgery on 2nd July engaging with users of Queen’s Park Gardens. Engagement with residents and visitors including dog walkers saw discussions take place, and advice offered across a range of issues including control of dogs, littering, and anti-social behaviour/crime matters. The good weather enabled a high number of well -received interactions from across both wards. Look out for the next date! Across London we’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals - including with new tech like live facial recognition cameras, drones and e-bikes.
