Yesterday's Patrol - 12/07/26. 🚴♀️ A day on two wheels in Fleetwood! 🚴♀️
Being out on the beat is at the heart of neighbourhood policing, helping us build relationships, understand local concerns and stay connected to our community. Here's a little glimpse of what your local PCSO, Lizzy, got up to today!
📸 I stopped for a selfie with one of the stars of the Fleetwood Scarecrow Festival (and its lovely creator!) – the effort that's gone into the displays this weekend has been fantastic. ⚽ I also met a group of young people heading off for a kick about at the park. With England flying the flag in the World Cup and now through to the semi-finals, spirits were high 🏴 🛒 Called in to see the team at Iceland as part of our regular partnership work with local retailers to prevent and tackle prolific shoplifting. 🥊 Also bumped into the legend, Jane Couch MBE (who really needs no introduction!). Thanks again, Jane and the ladies from The Chill Lounge, for all your support with our Monday night Girls Hub sessions. 🏡 Finished up with a patrol around Larkholme. Touch wood, we've had no recent burglary reports in the area and long may that continue!
The bike may not be as quick as a police car, but it definitely gets more selfies! 😄
