Car seized following speeding conerns

Dear Resident,

Following concerns raised by residents about late-night speeding along Park Road towards Broadway, our neighbourhood officers dedicated part of their late shift on Friday to patrolling the area.

During the patrol, officers stopped a vehicle that was found to be exceeding the speed limit. Further checks revealed that the driver was not insured to drive the vehicle.

As a result, the vehicle was seized, removing another uninsured driver from the roads.

Road safety remains an important issue for our local communities, and we will continue to respond to concerns raised by residents and carry out enforcement activity where appropriate.
