You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Holly Bank Road on Saturday 11th July 14:19hrs

the method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

The alarm was sounding at the property, sister of victim has attended to check the house when it is discovered that the back door was open,  the locks had been damaged suspect/s have made a search of the property

 Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it for any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
