Help Us Tackle Illegal Off-Road Motorcycles and E-Bikes |
We are continuing to receive reports of off-road motorcycles and e-bikes, including Sur-Ron style bikes, being ridden illegally in public spaces across our communities. These vehicles can cause significant nuisance, intimidate residents, and pose a danger to both riders and members of the public. We are asking local residents to help us build a clearer picture of when and where these incidents are taking place. If you witness off-road motorcycles or e-bikes being ridden illegally on roads, pavements, parks, footpaths, playing fields or other public areas, please report it to Greater Manchester Police. Every report matters. Information provided by the community helps us understand the scale of the issue, identify hotspots, and build the intelligence needed to request the right resources in the right locations at the right times. This enables us to target enforcement activity more effectively and take positive action against those responsible. When making a report to GMP, please provide as much information as you can including, but not limited to: dates, times, locality, description of bike(s) and rider(s), direction of travel, etc.
To report non-emergency incidents, contact GMP via: 📞 101 If a crime is taking place or there is an immediate risk to public safety, always call 999. Thank you for your continued support in helping us keep our communities safe.
