Op-Hurricane

Over the weekend, officers from Salford Neighbourhood Central Team 2 were on proactive mobile patrol as part of Operation Hurricane when they encountered a group of youths causing anti-social behaviour on electric bikes around Salford Quays.

Thanks to the swift actions of Sgt 13039 Metcalfe and his team, they apprehended, numerous electric bike was seized, based on intelligence.

The bikes has now been removed from the streets and will be destroyed.

We understand the impact that anti-social behaviour can have on our communities and remain committed to tackling issues that affect residents and visitors. Operations such as this are part of our ongoing efforts to keep Salford's public spaces safe and enjoyable for everyone.
